Disclaimer
Please read this before relying on anything published here. It sets out what this website is, and what it is not.
This site is general information
Everything on judgebatteries.us is published for general information about the services Judge Batteries offers. It is not a diagnosis of your vehicle, and it is not technical, legal, or safety advice for your specific situation. Nothing on this site creates a contract on its own.
In an emergency, call emergency services
If you are in danger, if anyone is hurt, or if your vehicle is stopped somewhere unsafe such as a live traffic lane, a tunnel, or a bridge, call 911 first. Do not wait for us. If it is safe to do so, move away from the vehicle and stand behind a barrier. A battery service is not an emergency service and we cannot substitute for police, fire, or medical response.
Response times
We dispatch 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but arrival time depends on traffic, weather, distance, bridge and tunnel conditions, and how many jobs are already running. Any time estimate given on the phone is our best judgement at that moment, not a guarantee, and this website makes no promise of an arrival time on our behalf.
What a battery service can and cannot fix
A dead battery is one of several reasons a vehicle will not start. A jump start or a new battery will not repair a failing alternator, a starter motor, a parasitic drain, a fuel or ignition fault, corroded wiring, or a mechanical problem in the engine. We test the battery and the charging system and tell you what we find, but we are a mobile battery and roadside service, not a full repair shop, and some vehicles need a garage.
Modern vehicles can lose stored settings when power is interrupted. We use a memory saver to reduce that risk, and some vehicles still require a relearn afterwards. A vehicle that was already faulty may show further faults after any electrical work. We take reasonable care, and we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, latent defects, or wear that becomes apparent during or after a service call.
Hybrid and electric vehicles
We work on the 12V auxiliary battery in hybrid and electric vehicles. We do not work on high voltage traction batteries or any high voltage system, and nothing on this site should be read as offering that.
Prices
$130 is a starting price for a standard call in our coverage area. The final price depends on the vehicle, the battery it needs, the location, and the access. You are told the price on the phone before we dispatch. Prices shown on this site may change without notice, and a price quoted for one job does not set the price for another. Payment is cash or Zelle at the roadside.
Coverage area
The boroughs, counties, towns, and ZIP codes listed on this site describe where we normally work. Some addresses inside those areas are not reachable by a service van, including certain private garages, height restricted structures, and restricted access facilities. We confirm coverage on the call.
Battery brands and availability
Brand names on this site identify the product lines we commonly stock. Those names are the trademarks of their respective owners, and their use here does not imply any endorsement, affiliation, or authorised dealer relationship. Availability of any particular brand or line varies, and the battery fitted to your vehicle is the one that meets its specification.
Warranty
A new battery we supply carries the manufacturer warranty that comes with it, on the manufacturer terms. That warranty covers the battery itself. It is not a warranty on the vehicle, on labour beyond the original installation, or on any other part.

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Judge Batteries is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or from reliance on information published here, including lost time, missed appointments, towing costs, or loss of income. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
